The Turkish construction company Karmod has completed the installation of its modular structures in a public housing project in Lisbon, the capital of Portugal. These structures will be used as an office on the construction site and also as a cafeteria in a luxury project with 1,000 apartment units.
Project specifications and applications of the structures
Muzaffer Doğru Ergüloğlu, Karmod's export manager, announced that the company has now focused on installing structures in the housing sector of Portugal after its hotel projects in the country. Ergüloğlu added that Karmod's container structures fully comply with the standards of the European Agency for Safety and Health at Work (EU-OSHA).
He emphasized: "These containers, produced in Turkey, are fully compatible with safety and health practices in European countries. Our container structures are used in many regions of Europe, especially in Germany, France, the UK, and Portugal, and are utilized for offices, sales offices, and construction site facilities."
Development of construction projects in Portugal
Ergüloğlu also stated that the current project is the fourth project that the company has undertaken in the field of site mobility in Portugal. In this project, a two-story modular building has been installed as part of the plan in Lisbon.
He added: "These structures, produced in Turkey, are easy to transport and come with all necessary materials. We deliver these structures with our teams for assembly on-site." This news reflects Karmod's ongoing efforts to expand its presence in international markets and provide innovative solutions in construction.
