Road Scholar is launching exclusive trips for women to Antarctica with its new program titled "Spirit of Antarctica: A Journey for Women." This 15-day trip, starting on February 29, 2028, is designed entirely for female travelers and includes female guides, female guest speakers, and special services for this group.

Trip Details and Planning

The trip begins with two nights in Buenos Aires and one night in Ushuaia, after which travelers will board the ship. Onboard, travelers will have access to a library, hands-on laboratory, and guidance from the travel team. There will also be private group sessions for discussion and exchange of ideas, along with an experienced group leader throughout the journey. The group capacity for this trip is 24 people, allowing solo travelers to connect more closely with each other and the ship's crew.

A Unique Experience for Women

All members of the travel team, including naturalist guides and ship crew, are women. According to Eliza Carrera from Road Scholar, having a group of women learning together brings a special sense of friendship and solidarity. This program gives travelers the opportunity to benefit from the experiences and stories of successful women in various fields, many of whom have witnessed historic advancements in their lifetimes.

This program is jointly organized with Aurora Expeditions, and all activities and landings will be supervised by the women's team. Given the anticipated interest, especially from solo travelers, registration for this trip has already begun, and interested individuals are encouraged to act quickly.
