The collapse of a multi-story building in the Tal al-Hawa area of Gaza has claimed at least 12 lives, including children. Additionally, dozens of people are missing in this incident. Local rescue teams are searching for bodies and survivors under the rubble.
Condition of the Building and Safety Warnings
This building, which was in poor condition due to war-related damage, was home to 10 families according to local residents. Despite warnings about the building's unsafe condition, residents continued to live there. Videos released from the scene show the rescue teams' efforts to find individuals who may still be trapped under the rubble.

Challenges in Rescue Operations and Airstrikes
Members of the civil rescue services affiliated with Hamas stated that initially they were working with bare hands due to severe Israeli restrictions on importing equipment to Gaza. However, they have recently managed to borrow some heavy machinery to expedite the search and rescue operations.
On Tuesday, Israeli airstrikes in Gaza resulted in the deaths of at least five Palestinians, including two children and a Hamas commander. Health sources and Hamas sources confirmed this information. The Israeli army stated that in these strikes, a Hamas commander in southern Gaza and another fighter in northern Gaza were targeted. In both cases, there are reports of a child being killed as well.
Separately, a British charity that provides medical aid in Palestine announced that a patient died as a result of an Israeli drone strike at a health center it supports.
