The IDF Northern Command reported Hezbollah's efforts to establish a base in the border areas of the Blue Line in southern Lebanon. These activities have been met with a response from the Israeli army.

The IDF Northern Command announced that Hezbollah is attempting to strengthen its presence at the borders of the Blue Line in southern Lebanon. These areas are considered easy targets for Hezbollah due to the absence of Israeli military entry.

Hezbollah's Tactics and the IDF's Response

Israeli army sources have reported that in some sections of the Blue Line, no official entry has occurred due to the encirclement of these areas by army-controlled regions. Consequently, Hezbollah is actively trying to stabilize its presence in these areas. The Israeli army is aware of this threat and has begun measures to counter it five weeks ago.

These actions include airstrikes, artillery fire, and the use of military engineering units. Israeli army sources have noted that these activities have become possible due to the conclusion of the battle in the Al-Tahter Heights, which has recently reached a resolution. These changes allow the Israeli army to allocate more resources and personnel to secure vulnerable areas.

An Example of Hezbollah's Movements and Future Threats

Despite Hezbollah's efforts to seize several points within the Blue Line, one of the mentioned examples in this regard is the village of Al-Mansouri located in the municipality of Majdal Zoun. Israeli army sources stated that these clashes do not involve ground forces and the army responds to Hezbollah's movements through airstrikes and artillery fire.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu warned Hezbollah on Monday that Israel would respond to any attack, stating: "I tell our enemies: If you have not learned your lesson yet and decide to attack us, you will suffer heavier blows." Netanyahu also referred to the destruction of Hezbollah's infrastructure in the Bofort and Al-Tahter Heights as a significant victory.

The Israeli army also released new images and details of its latest operation in southern Lebanon on Friday, which included securing and destroying Hezbollah's underground infrastructure in the Al-Tahter Heights. This operation featured footage from the body cameras of a Yahlon unit soldier, as well as aerial images from inside tunnels and videos of the killing of two terrorists.

Hezbollah has attempted to portray its battles in the Al-Tahter Heights with heroic narratives, likening them to the "Battle of Karbala." However, at the end of a determined military operation conducted by Israeli forces, Hezbollah was defeated, and Israel was able to seize and destroy the organization's most important facilities in southern Lebanon.

On Friday morning, the Israeli army announced that what remains from the Al-Tahter Heights is "nothing but a sand box," and Hezbollah and Iran suffered a severe blow in this operation. The operation to seize these heights took months, with about 50 terrorists trapped inside the tunnels.
