Li Auto has introduced the all-electric SUV Li i9 in China. With a drag coefficient of 0.215, it claims the title of the most aerodynamic mass-produced SUV in the world. The price of this new SUV is set at 369,800 yuan (54,400 dollars).
Technical Specifications and Design
The body of the Li i9 measures 5,225 millimeters in length, 1,970 millimeters in width, and 1,752 millimeters in height, with a wheelbase of 3,168 millimeters. This design allows users to enjoy an optimized and comfortable interior space. The wired steering system and rear-wheel steering capability have resulted in a turning diameter of only 10.6 meters, which enhances the vehicle's maneuverability.

Interior Features and Equipment
The vehicle's cabin is equipped with four zero-gravity seats. The second-row seats, which can rotate in both directions and come with a table, transform the interior into a living room, sleeping area, cinema, or changing space. Additionally, the cabin's amenities include multimedia displays and advanced communication systems.
The dual-motor all-wheel-drive powertrain produces a total power of 536 horsepower and a torque of 660 Newton-meters. The acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h takes 4.9 seconds, indicating the high performance of this SUV.
Battery Performance and Safety
The Li i9 is equipped with a 101 kWh battery that, with 5C ultra-fast charging technology, provides a range of 705 kilometers based on the CLTC standard. The battery can gain enough energy for 500 kilometers of travel in just 10 minutes, which is highly significant for users.
The vehicle utilizes two M100 chips with a processing power of 1,280 trillion operations per second and four lidar sensors, which enhance security and movement systems. Additionally, it features 11 airbags and a backup power supply system to ensure passenger safety. The first delivery series will come with CATL batteries, while later models will be equipped with Li Auto's developed batteries.
