Trump's administration will meet with Delcy Rodriguez, the interim president of Venezuela, at the UN General Assembly. This meeting comes after a petroleum agreement between the United States and Venezuela.

Donald Trump's administration, the President of the United States, will participate in the UN General Assembly next week and will meet with global leaders during this assembly. This event has attracted significant attention, especially with the meeting between Trump and Delcy Rodriguez, the interim president of Venezuela, which will take place in a separate session.

Details of the Trump and Rodriguez Meeting

This meeting marks the first face-to-face encounter between these two leaders since the United States operations in Venezuela, which led to the arrest of Nicolas Maduro, the former president of the country, earlier this year. Additionally, this meeting occurs as Trump has recently announced that the United States and Venezuela have reached an agreement whereby the United States will have major control over billions of barrels of the country's oil reserves in the Caribbean.

Trump's Agenda at the General Assembly

Alongside the meeting with Rodriguez, Trump will also meet with other global leaders. Among these leaders are Andy Burnham, the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, and Suga Yoshihide, the Prime Minister of Japan. Furthermore, in a multilateral session, Trump will meet with leaders from Gulf countries including Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates.

A senior U.S. official told reporters that during this meeting, Trump will directly hear the concerns of Gulf countries regarding the Iran war. He explained that these concerns include the expectation for the Iranian regime to withdraw from its efforts to acquire nuclear weapons.

Key Points in Trump's Speech

In his speech at the UN General Assembly on Tuesday, Trump will address how his administration is tackling complex global issues. According to government officials, Trump will emphasize the importance of ensuring that Iran never acquires nuclear weapons. This issue has been raised not only by the United States but also by the UN Security Council and various resolutions.

Last year's speech by Trump at the General Assembly was accompanied by criticism of the leaders of the countries present at the conference, as he stated: "Your countries are heading towards destruction." Trump also criticized the UN for failing to fulfill its promises and asked: "What is the purpose of the UN?"

Given the significance of these meetings and speeches, analysts believe that the outcomes of this event could have substantial impacts on international relations and economic and political issues in the future.
