Juniper Green Energy, an independent renewable energy producer in India, announced that in the first two weeks of September, it expanded its project portfolio by launching several new projects. The company stated on September 15 that it has increased its operational capacity to 2689 megawatts from solar and wind capacities, along with 503 megawatt-hours from battery energy storage systems.
Launch of New Wind Power Generation Capacity
The group announced on Tuesday that it has launched 101 megawatts of wind power generation capacity in the states of Gujarat, Maharashtra, and Rajasthan under the Wind Solar Hybrid and Firm and Dispatchable Renewable Energy (FDRE) projects. The latest launch includes 45 megawatts of wind capacity in the GUVNL Hybrid Phase I project and 40 megawatts of wind capacity in the GUVNL Hybrid Phase II project, both located at the Charadva GETCO substation in Gujarat. With this move, 145 megawatts of the 150-megawatt GUVNL Hybrid Phase I project and 70 megawatts of the 120-megawatt GUVNL Hybrid Phase II project are now operational.

Progress in MSEDCL and GUVNL Projects
Juniper Green Energy has also successfully completed its contractual capacity of 75 megawatts with MSEDCL, launching the last 10 megawatts of wind capacity at the Chapalgaon site in Maharashtra. With this launch, 75 megawatts of solar capacity and 25 megawatts of wind capacity have been fully operational more than two months ahead of the scheduled operational date.
